Involving Older and Disabled People in Assessment of Product, Environment and Service Designs

For over 10 years research has been conducted by the Design School at Loughborough University in United Kingdom (UK) into accessibility of products, services and environments with a particular focus on needs older disabled people. As part this computer based tool called HADRIAN developed to encourage empathy between designers, planners people who are or may have some form impairment. In addition, provides means evaluate inclusiveness design simulating abilities performing virtual user trials where potential barriers introduced proposed can be identified rectified before is implemented real world.
